BudgetCoinz is committed to full fee transparency. All applicable fees, exchange rates, and the difference between our price and the current market price are displayed on the ATM screen BEFORE you confirm any transaction.
How Our Fees Work
BudgetCoinz pricing generally includes a transaction fee component and an exchange-rate spread component, as disclosed on the kiosk screen before you confirm your transaction.

| Exchange Rate Spread | The difference between the price BudgetCoinz charges for cryptocurrency and the current market price (spot price). This spread varies by transaction and market conditions and is displayed on the ATM screen before you confirm. |
IMPORTANT: The price you pay per coin at a BudgetCoinz ATM will be higher than the current market price. The difference (spread) is disclosed on the ATM screen before every transaction. Review this carefully before confirming.
State-Specific Fee Disclosures
Minnesota
Minnesota law requires BudgetCoinz to disclose the following before each transaction at Minnesota ATMs:
- All applicable fees and charges
- The applicable exchange rate
- All transaction expenses
- The difference between the sale price charged to you and the current market price of the digital financial asset
All of these disclosures are provided on the ATM screen before you confirm your transaction. An electronic receipt will be provided for every Minnesota transaction and will include all required information.
Colorado
Colorado law requires BudgetCoinz to disclose fees, expenses, charges, and applicable exchange rates in clear, conspicuous English before each transaction. The following are disclosed on the ATM screen before you confirm:
- All fees and expenses
- The applicable exchange rate
- The difference between the rate charged to you and the current market rate
California
California law (Cal. Fin. Code Section 3904) requires BudgetCoinz to ensure charges comply with applicable limits. All fees and the exchange rate spread are disclosed on the ATM screen before transaction confirmation, consistent with California Financial Code Section 3905(a).
California daily transaction limit: $1,000 per day (effective January 1, 2024).
California fee cap: BudgetCoinz will not collect charges exceeding the greater of: (a) $5.00, or (b) 15% of the U.S. dollar equivalent of the transaction at the time the customer initiates the transaction.
Wisconsin
BudgetCoinz follows Wisconsin DFI guidance and applicable Wisconsin money transmission requirements. Wisconsin customers are subject to a $2,000 daily transaction limit. Fees are disclosed on the ATM screen before each transaction. Wisconsin requirements may change as legislation and regulatory guidance evolve.

Your Transaction Receipt
Upon completing a transaction, BudgetCoinz provides a receipt (electronic and/or printed depending on location). Your receipt includes:
- Transaction date and time
- Transaction amount in USD
- Transaction ID (TXID)
- Amount of cryptocurrency purchased
- Exchange rate applied
- Exchange rate spread (difference between market price and price charged)
- All fees charged
- BudgetCoinz NMLS ID and contact information
